This policy explains what information we collect when you message our WhatsApp business number, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Who we are

What we collect

• Your WhatsApp phone number — so we can reply to you
• Your messages to us — including product selections, sizes and preferences
• Order details — items, quantities, amounts and order status
• Delivery address — only if you provide it to complete an order
• Payment status — whether a payment succeeded or failed, received from our payment provider. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank credentials.

Why we collect it

• To answer your questions and show you products
• To create, process and deliver your orders
• To send order confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates
• To issue tax invoices as required by Indian law
• To handle returns, exchanges and refunds

Who we share it with

• Meta Platforms — message delivery over WhatsApp
• Our payment provider — to collect payment and issue refunds
• Courier partners — name, address and phone, only to deliver your order

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising by third parties.

Messaging you

We message you only after you message us first. Promotional messages are sent only with your consent, and you can stop them at any time by replying STOP.

How long we keep it

Order records and tax invoices are kept for eight years, as required by Indian tax law. Conversation history is kept for as long as needed to serve you, and deleted on request unless it forms part of an order record we are legally required to retain.

Your rights

You may ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Reply DELETE MY DATA on WhatsApp, or email teamsmitara@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is stored on access-controlled systems. Messages in transit are encrypted. Access is limited to people who need it to fulfil your order.

Children

Our service is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will post the update here and note the date above.
